Booking Policy
Ensuring a peaceful and comfortable stay for all our guests in the Makhonjwa Mountains.
Reservation Window
- Minimum 1-day advance notice.
- Minimum stay: 1 night.
- Maximum direct stay: 3 nights.
Guest Capacity
- Standard occupancy: 2 adults per room.
- Children (3-11) allowed under specific room conditions.
- Infants (0-2) allowed in all rooms.
Business Bookings
Stays longer than 3 nights are classified as business/long-term stays. These must be requested via email and are subject to separate terms.
Chalet Specific Rules
The Rondavel Rooms
The Rondavel rooms (Room 1 & Room 2) are separate ensuite bookings within the original bungalow building. Booking both rooms provides access to the full bungalow for increased capacity.
- Room occupancy: 2 Adults + 1 Child + 1 Infant maximum.
- Full Bungalow: 4 Adults + 2 Children + 2 Infants maximum.
Standard Chalets
Our standard Mountain and Valley chalets are limited to 2 Adults, OR 1 Adult and 1 Child, plus 1 Infant max. Infants are welcome in all chalets free of charge.
Bedding & Cots
Extra single beds are provided as 3/4 sized beds and are only available in The Rondavel. These are mandatory for certain guest combinations (e.g., 2 adults + 1 child).
Cots for infants: Please note that we do not currently provide infant cots. Parents are required to bring their own portable cot if needed.
Meal Services
Breakfast and Dinner add-ons are charged per person per night. Meal selections must be confirmed in advance to allow our kitchen staff to prepare fresh local ingredients.
Cancellation & No-Show
As a remote escape, our availability is limited. Cancellations or changes to your booking must be communicated at least 48 hours prior to check-in for a partial refund. Direct bookings are confirmed via a secure payment gateway (Yoco).
